Elon Musk Shares Pic & Fun Notes On Tesla Giga Berlin
July 15th, 2020 by Zachary Shahan[2]
Tesla CEO Elon Musk moments ago tweeted out a sunny, light rendering of Tesla Giga Berlin, the gigafactory in Germany currently under construction. The picture is here:
The tweet was followed by numerous questions from Tesla fans, with Musk answering several of them.
In summary, there are indeed solar panels on the roof in the rendering, yet Musk also replied that they could put a pool on the roof and that there might be an indoor/outdoor rave space on the roof.
And, joking or not (I presume joking), Musk responded to a comment about there being no chimneys in the picture that they were “carefully hidden.” The simulation can be tricky, can’t it. I guess they just got airbrushed out.

Who needs to pay for advertisements when you’ve got the best hype man on the planet running the company and tweeting every day?
That’s it for now, but I’ll update this article if the tweets start flying again.
For much more info on the Tesla Giga Berlin factory[7], check out our archives — there’s a lot more information packed into previous articles, but nothing about a rooftop pool and little about a rave space.
